Inmarsat Satellite Airtime
Inmarsat airtime service is the most reliable satellite service available. For over 25 years, Inmarsat has been supplying global satellite airtime service to marine and land-mobile customers via its four geo-stationary satellites.
Inmarsat has been instrumental in the introduction of products such the GAN (Global Area Network, M4), the marine FLEET service that provide high data rates, MPDS (always connected), internet/email capabilities, crew calling, and standard telephone service.
Inmarsat recently announced its cutting edge satellite BROADBAND airtime service for both marine (Fleet Broadband) and land-mobile (BGAN - Broadband Global Area Network) applications. In August 2008 Inmarsat launched the I-4 Satellite, enabling seamless, reliable and truly WORLDWIDE Broadband communications in effect by early 2009, albeit the polar region.
Mackay offers Inmarsat airtime through its Mackay Minutes program, which includes volume discounts, pre-paid minutes, SIM cards, activation, licensing and consolidated billing.
