Inmarsat BEAM Oceana 800 FleetPhone

The Oceana 800 from BEAM Communications is an all-in-one voice and SMS communications terminal with an IP54 rating enclosure fitting for maritime applications worldwide.  Designed for use with the Inmarsat I-4 satellite system, utilizing its FleetPhone Service, ensuring global* connectivity.  The Oceana 800 system is inclusive with a ruggedized active maritime antenna.

The Oceana 800 features an RJ11/POTS interface connecting up to five phones (corded or cordless) or integration with a PABX system.  The Oceana 800’s crisp color LCD display provides easy access for SMS messaging or checking phonebook entries.  The terminal unit is desk or wall-mountable.

The Oceana 800 model has a built-in GPS, enabling intelligent tracking or instant message reporting via SMS or e-mail.   This functionality can be configured to support automated periodic polling or IM reporting.  The system also supports "505 Emergency" call system and eight languages for SMS functions.
