The EXPLORER 700 provides you with access to the highest bandwidth available on Inmarsat’s newest BGAN (Broadband Global Area Network) satellite system.  The EXPLORER 700 users can take full advantage of Inmarsat's newest BGAN X-Stream* satellite service option, with selectable Streaming IP data rates guaranteed to 384kbps minumum, up to 450kbps (marking the first satellite service to offer these assured rates).  In 2010, Inmarsat announced a cost efficient guaranteed BGAN 176kbps** Streaming IP rate for key media applications.  Thrane & Thrane's EXPLORER 700 can now service a broader range of broadcast industry applications, depending on their video and audio needs, venue scenarios, cost element and the critical level of broadcast communications.
