The Hughes BGAN HNS9201 high performance satellite communications terminal is ideal for either single-users with bandwidth-hungry applications, such as live video, or for small teams requiring expedient temporary office set-up, providing a range of applications from standard data transfer to high-speed connectivity.  Simultaneous voice and broadband data allows access to data applications, while making a phone call at the same time.

The Hughes BGAN HNS9201 provides you with access to the highest bandwidth available on Inmarsat’s newest BGAN (Broadband Global Area Network) satellite system.  As of June 2009, HNS9201 users can take full advantage of Inmarsat's newest BGAN X-Stream ** service, with selectable Streaming IP data rates guaranteed to 384kbps minumum, up to 450kbps (marking the first satellite service to offer these assured rates).  The HNS9201 terminal, coupled with the BGAN X-Stream, will be a powerful combination, particularly appealing to the broadcast industry.

Extremely Robust and Highly Flexible 
The HNS9201 can be installed outside in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time.  This satellite terminal is easy to use in both portable and semi-fixed contexts.  Multi-user support allows an entire team to share a single unit, enabling an instant broadband local area network.
