Globalstar GSP-2900 family of Fixed Phones allows you to bring the coverage and reliability of satellite communications indoors. The GSP-2900-ST fixed phone allows for mounting the sensitive phone components in a protected area while mounting the fixed weatherproof rod-antenna outside (with a clear line of sight to the satellites).
Like the standard GSP-2900, the –ST version can be configured to provide a single line of service to as many as five standard telephone jacks, giving you convenient custom installation options or just plug in a standard cordless phone for ultimate flexibility. Because the GSP-2900 phones generate a standard dial-tone, you can use any off-the-shelf FCC approved cordless phone, standard phone speakerphone, answering machine, connect to a PBX system, or use the high-quality included desktop speakerphone.
The GSP-2900-ST is ideal for installation in maritime or other extreme weather environments, whether it be the corrosive salt of the sea, extreme cold, or blistering heat. Globalstar Fixed Phones bring dial-tone service to remote areas where it was never before possible.
